GridSouth Networks Bandwidth Pricing
Bandwidth is billed and available to colocation clients in 1 Mbps increments. A 1 Mbps connection allows the transfer of approximately 340 Gb of data over a 30 day period. We use the 95 percentile method over the course of a month. We take samplings at 5 minute intervals and discard the top 5 percent of the samplings (approximately 35 hours per month). This is ideal for customers whose servers have a great deal of traffic over the course of a day. In addition, your company will be provided with access to out PRTG monitoring site and our Netflow monitoring site. We calculate bandwidth usage on a per client port not a per server basis. Whether your company has 1 or 100 servers, you are only billed for the total combined bandwidth consumed by the servers connected to a single public-facing port. Colocated clients are encouraged to work with our technical staff to optimize their network configuration. Our staff will recommend the correct equipment including Ethernet switches, network interfaces and server configurations to insure optimal operation of colocated servers in our data center.
GridSouth Networks offers bandwidth pricing as follows:
- 1 to 4 Mbps $95 per Mbps
- 5 to 9 Mbps $90 per Mbps
- 10 to 19 Mbps $85 per Mbps
- 20 to 49 Mbps $80 per Mbps
- 50 to 99 Mbps $75 per Mbps
- 100 to 199 Mbps $55 per Mbps
- 200 to 499 Mbps $45 per Mbps
- 500 Mbps and above $40 per Mbps
All bandwidth includes the following:
- 1 Mbps minimum charge per month on 1U services
- Basic Intrusion Detection / Intrusion Prevention
- Invoiced based on the 95th percentile
- SLA (Service Level Agreement): 100%
- 1 IP Address included w/ 1U service
- 30 IP Addresses included w/ 1/2 and Full Rack Cabinet Service
- Installation takes 1-5 business days to complete
- 24x7 Monitoring w/ Client access
